My first foray into solar was my own startup in 2006, and have since gained broad experience in solar project development, PV sales & marketing. And, I bring nearly 2 decades’ experience in marketing and sales, team & change management, and working in Latin America for major global companies.
From running my own solar sales & marketing company to executing utility-scale solar project development, product sales & finance, my work has enabled mass deployment of utility and distributed generation assets throughout the Americas. And, my podcast has become a go-to resource for professionals seeking to grow personally & professionally.
I have broad experience across the PV landscape, from project development to equipment sales and marketing, and have held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic account acquisition, distribution strategy and sales channel management in the Americas. Perhaps notably, I was responsible for developing the Sales and Marketing strategy, subsequently managing the territory, for Trina Solar’s expansion into Latin America in 2012, and have helped numerous companies do the same.
Put simply: I help scale renewable energy businesses in the US and abroad. I owe a great deal of my cross-functional communication skills, including Spanish fluency, to my time served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala.
