JB Glossinger [00:00:05]:
Good And welcome to Morning Coaching Today. I am so glad you're with us. Hey, it's Jamie, and it's my birthday. I was trying to go as long as I could for my 55 year old self, June 17, 1969. That's why that was a little bit longer. I think that's the longest I've ever went with the good planning, and, we'll get off to start this week with a little laughter and a little fun. I tried to hold that as long as I could. Matt Kramer, my vocal coach, would have been yelling at me a little bit because I was running in my throat.
JB Glossinger [00:00:55]:
You're supposed to keep that Coaching, and a lot of those singers could keep it going. I know I can't. But, hey, we're having some fun here on my birthday. 55 years on this planet, and I gotta tell you, first thing first, thank you. Bottom line, from my heart to your heart, thank you. Because I could not do what I'm doing without you, and whatever level you're supporting us, thank you. Some of you support more than others, but it's all support. Right? And and to each of you, you know who you are.
JB Glossinger [00:01:27]:
I really, really appreciate you being with me, whether you just started last week or even today or you started 19 years ago on this journey. I really appreciate you. I do as we continue to press on towards a goal here. That's what we're doing altogether. So it's a Monday. Ready to go. Birthday Monday doesn't happen a lot, but I love Mondays because it gives us the ability to take on the week. And this week, we got a good one before we get into our routine.
JB Glossinger [00:01:54]:
I wanna tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna talk about leadership this week. We're gonna talk about leading the tribe, but not only leading the tribe, but monetization. So this is gonna be a really good week. We've got planning your tribe today. Tomorrow, of course, we're in the book study. We're talking Human Design for Business by Jamie Palmer. We're gonna get into part 2 of the discussion of it.
JB Glossinger [00:02:13]:
I've found some really interesting things as I continue to learn about myself with human design. Wednesday, we're gonna talk about being interested and why being interested is interesting and tips on knowledge for leadership. How do we gain knowledge for leadership? I'm excited about this day. It's one thing I'm really good at is research and how can we strengthen your leadership with knowledge? You're gonna wanna be here. Thursday, we're gonna this I'm laughing at this one because we're gonna have a fun one as we get into more political things and the world keeps getting darker. I keep getting these questions. We'll get through it. I'm telling you, we'll get through it together, everyone.
JB Glossinger [00:02:49]:
We're gonna talk about dealing with ego and narcissistic people. Okay? I've got an Ask JB people, and I'm gonna tell you how to handle some of those people. I I I could tell you how I do it right now, but wait till Thursday. Friday, we got leadership and monetization. How do you monetize? How do you really make money? That's gonna be good. And, of course, doctor Paul continues all kinds of great information about health. He's been doing a wonderful job. And then finally, we're gonna talk about family, faith, and working through difficult times on Sunday as we're moving through the middle of June here.
JB Glossinger [00:03:21]:
Just so excited. For those of you that are brand new and even those of you that aren't brand new, you know, we've got our metaphysical morning ritual. What is that? Well, that is number 1, taking time for self care. K? Remember that. Let's first coaching, gotta tell you how important that is. Listen to Coaching cast. You're here. That's just all you gotta do.
JB Glossinger [00:03:42]:
Show up and listen. Plan your day with the 7 P's. Okay? Remember what those are. Have the proper perspective. Set the proper priorities. Focus on improved performance. Always have patience. Have patience in this system.
JB Glossinger [00:03:57]:
Have patience in yourself. Remember, we overestimate what we can do in a short amount of time. We underestimate what we can do in a long amount of time. Stick with me here. K. Have patience. Keep gate posture. Get those shoulders back.
JB Glossinger [00:04:11]:
Stay in the moment. Stay present is our next p, and then persist. That's gonna get you on track, those 7 p's. Then we wanna get our planner out. Organize your day. Again, philosophically, a lot of people join and go, JB, I I don't really like the planner. Maybe I'm not using the iPad or the remarkable 2. You know, I I I wanna get organized, but I like sticky notes.
JB Glossinger [00:04:32]:
Hey. It works. K? Get organized. Even if you're using sticky notes, you're using a whiteboard. This is how we set our priorities in the morning. For those of you that are using the planning, you wanna dive in a little bit deeper, take a picture and send it into the companion. We'll get some notes and stuff. That's in beta.
JB Glossinger [00:04:48]:
We're working to make it better. And, of course, stop by the community for accountability questions and support. And for some of you, the metaphysical group is starting to roll a little bit. If you haven't heard about our secret metaphysical group, email us info at morning Coaching for morning coach members. It is free, but it's application only because it's a very deep, deep, deep program on manifesting and really changing the things that you want in your life. So if things are going great, it is not morning coach, FYI. It's just something that I decided to teach because I've had some major, major breakthroughs in my life. I wanted to share them, but there's some caveats or some things, some warnings before you go in there.
JB Glossinger [00:05:34]:
And I wanna make sure you understand that and you apply so you're on the same page. Because in that group, if somebody disrupts the energy, disrupts it, it can really disrupt it for everybody, including myself, and I don't want that to happen. So application only, if you haven't filled that out, wanna get involved in that group and things that we're doing, hit us up at info at planning coaching. And I could note too just because I get this question a lot. Yes. We are running masterminds on Thursdays. These are me these are meetings with me, where we get together once a week with some of the most amazing people around the world, work on issues and things that they're working on and I'm working on and we're all working on. That is also available.
JB Glossinger [00:06:16]:
Very few seats. But if you're interested in that info at planning coach.com, that's our mastermind group coaching structure called the International Inner Circle. K? So that's what's going on out there. A lot of great stuff. Right? A lot of good energy. A lot of great development things moving forward. But, again, you're just getting started. Keep it simple.
JB Glossinger [00:06:36]:
K? Let's keep it simple. Get a morning ritual going. Show up, listen to this, and get your priorities in order. Alright. Let's get into today's topic. We are talking about leading your tribe. So as we look at this, the first thing we have to do is step back and go, who is your tribe? Who is your tribe? I can tell you mine. Mine is very intelligent people that are into personal development, building their lives, and working to get better.
JB Glossinger [00:07:06]:
Over the years, it's taken 19 years to identify that that group. Now some people will call that, like, an avatar, not the blue people on the the show avatar, but it's like, okay. This we're identified in marketing. They'll call it avatar. And Gary Vaynerchuk's latest book on, day trading attention, he calls it cohorts. Now we do cohorts where people get together and work. We have one starting now. We're working through one right now, which is an ILD cohort.
JB Glossinger [00:07:29]:
We do productivity cohorts. To me, that's getting a group of people together, but it's similar. I like the word avatar better, but in case you're reading Gary's book, you might say, hey, JBZechler. Well, that's his terminology. And, again, a lot of terminology is language is understanding the meaning and understanding what people are saying. So the first thing is understanding who are your people, and I'll say Avatar. It just works for me better. Who are those people? So I know it's usually people with a little bit of experience in life.
JB Glossinger [00:07:56]:
They're building their life maybe in transition, trying to figure out what they're gonna do next. They're successful. They're intelligent. They understand these concepts. They're looking for more productivity. That is really my tribe. K? And it's challenging to lead that tribe because they're very intelligent people. So I gotta bring it.
JB Glossinger [00:08:14]:
I gotta come up with new ideas. I gotta work harder. I gotta get better because of that tribe. But you have to understand who your tribe is. If you have a family, you could be that could be your tribe. K? You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. My golf group, that's a tribe. K? Any shared interest that people are working together as a tribe.
JB Glossinger [00:08:35]:
Now I like to think of the tribe more as can I monetize that tribe, which we're gonna talk about on Friday? We're gonna get into depth of that. Can you monetize? And, yes, you can. But you can lead and monetize at the same time and those important cons concepts. But you you have to really define who are your people. Who are the people that you're working with, or who are the people that are you're around because you're going to want to lead the right tribe. Now I get it. Sometimes you get you get thrown into a into a tribe, and then you gotta really work on leadership. We're gonna talk about on Thursday, what do you deal with when you get thrown in, like, with a bunch of narcissists and ego? And there are a lot out there.
JB Glossinger [00:09:14]:
K. When I was running the board on my HOA board, good job about narcissism narcissism and egos. Oh my gosh. It was crazy. But there are ways to lead even in there, and I'll I'll go over some of those ideas as we get through the week. But one of the first things you have to understand is self selection. It's okay if people don't like you. You need to learn that.
JB Glossinger [00:09:36]:
That's one of the hardest things that I had to get through was that people are gonna self select, meaning they don't like me. And I'm okay. Even if they cancel morning coach and leave, I'm okay. It hurts because I'm always working. It's life, did I let them down? That's what a coach a coach hurts. Right? But at the end of the day, they're going to self select. Some people aren't willing to do the necessary steps in order order for them to achieve. I think about it like this.
JB Glossinger [00:10:03]:
When I search for games for the new iPad M4, there are these bubble gum games, right, that you just play and you don't think, and some people really like bubble gum games. Then you get into some of the depth of games, which are these deep strategic games, like reenacting World War 2 or the civil war. That literally, it would it takes hours and hours, and you have to have the right mind from that. Everybody has a different mindset. Right? And so most of my people are more of the strategic deep thinking, really intelligent people and less of the bubblegum kind of kind of joy kind of people. Right? We have joy people. I'm not saying that, but I'm just saying you'll understand your group and the way they think the deeper you get into it. I just know if you're listening to this, you're super intelligent and you you like some of this stuff.
JB Glossinger [00:10:50]:
Right? Where somebody's looking for something, maybe some music and stuff. They're not into the depth of how far we go. So they're gonna self select, and that's okay. I can't please everyone. As much as I'd like to, I can't. And if you learn that up ahead, you'll be a better leader because you can choose to lead in situations where you need to lead, and then you can let other people lead some of those other groups. We'll get into that when we talk about narcissism. Right? Sometimes it's better just let them fall on the sword and be there to clean up the mess.
JB Glossinger [00:11:21]:
But you're not going to be able to please everyone. But what you wanna do is identify that avatar, And then you wanna get education and be able to put energy into it because as you get education, as you learn about things, you're able to really, really work with your tribe. You see, I could not attract the amazing people that we have. Like, for example, in International Owner Circle, you know, 19 years ago when I started, the the quality of the people that are coming in and that are calling me and wanting to be a part of that group, Just I I didn't have the knowledge then. Okay? And the same thing with planning coach. You you the people that I'm attracting into this group, I didn't have the ability to do what I do today. And, of course, we've been on it 19 years. I continue to learn.
JB Glossinger [00:12:06]:
Every day I get better. There's a book study every month, plus I'm reading 3 other books. There's no way you can't. I can't get better to lead my tribe. Same thing with with when it comes to I mentioned it yesterday. If you keep rowing your boat, eventually, you're going to get there. You know, if you wanted to learn how to play drums, if you started drumming and you drummed every days for 19 years, you would eventually be a decent drummer. It's just the way it is.
JB Glossinger [00:12:31]:
K? And if you have some talent, then you're gonna even be better. But you can eventually get to where you're decent. So you have to be able to get education energy, and we're gonna talk about this on Wednesday. We're gonna go into how do we get this the the how do we get the knowledge so that we can lead? How can we and really, that's a transfer and some knowledge is so so important in my world. How can I help people jump the gap to the next spot in their life? What processes or systems can I build? What is my intellectual property that's going to help them? How can I lead them to the promised land? K? How can we impart the Red Seas for them and give them moments? That's what I'm always working towards. You know, for me, if I can give 1 or 2 moments a year, literally, 1 or 2. That's all it takes. Over 365 days a year, the ROI and the things that I do is a 100% worth it.
JB Glossinger [00:13:21]:
All I gotta do is 1 or 2. I don't need to do it every day. I just need let's say, hey, let's just say 1 a month. I don't even need that. Now you want a quarter. Couple times a year somebody says, wow, That really made a difference. It works for me. K? So you don't need to do it all the time.
JB Glossinger [00:13:35]:
You just need to have the education energy that can really change somebody and help lead them to the promised land. And then monetization, we're gonna talk about this Friday, but looking for people that have value oriented ideas. Again, my tribe is value oriented, meaning they value what I'm doing because they're already successful and they realize the value of that. So when I go out and look for people, I'm looking for value oriented people. And back in the day, it was beautiful because everybody listened to me, 40,000 a day, everybody had iPods. Why was that beautiful? Because they had this, I can't speak of the word today. Dyspository income. I can't spit that out.
JB Glossinger [00:14:13]:
You can say it. Say it for me. But they're able to have money that they're able to spend because they're Apple iPad users, and most Apple people had money back then. So I had a very affluent listener base. Where today, if somebody listens to Monday, I have a lot of people that think, you know, hey. I am not value oriented. So they so so locked out. They're not gonna participate in the things that we do because they don't have a you know, that extra income, right, to invest in themselves, and they might not people that are investing in themselves.
JB Glossinger [00:14:43]:
So as you go forward to monetize, again, Friday, we'll discuss that, understanding and finding value oriented people is critical because then you can be of service. Very simple. You just be of service. Put out the things that you do. Put out the love. People will know you, like you, and trust you, and they're willing to pay you. Some markets is extremely challenging even in the healing space. You know, I was with Hay House for years.
JB Glossinger [00:15:10]:
You know, you go into some of those circles life the reiki healing people who I love. Right? There's so many good ones, but there's a segment of that population is, like, well, everything is from the world. Everything is from the universe, so you should give everything away. That's not my world. K? I don't live in that world. A lot of those people are very, very at a very poverty level, you know, or they have somebody else sustaining them. That's just not me. I I I that wouldn't work.
JB Glossinger [00:15:37]:
Right? My my I'd have to get a job. I have to make some money somehow. Again, nothing against that, but I wanna be of service to value oriented people to say, hey. You're giving me value. I'll pay you. That's how I am. Right? Somebody gives me value. I'll pay them.
JB Glossinger [00:15:50]:
I don't have a problem. I go buy a car. If they give me great service, I'll pay whatever they ask. I just bought all new golf clubs. Right? I didn't even ask the price. It's getting great value. I don't go research it on the Internet and say, could I get it cheaper somewhere else? I'm not worried about those things. That's a prosperity concept for those of you in the metaphysical group we're gonna get into.
JB Glossinger [00:16:11]:
Why? Because the money just keeps flowing. Money just keeps flowing. Right? If you understand those concepts, you're value oriented. Yes. I'm I'm frugal. Right? Because the other part of that is knowing people aren't taking advantage of you. I have friends. I've built real relationships.
JB Glossinger [00:16:27]:
Why? Because I'm of service. Because I've done things for them. They do things for me, and they would never take advantage of me. Right? That's about leadership, posture, and presence, something that we talk a lot about. Our our 5th and 6th piece, having posture and presence. When you're able to go to somebody like my BMW dealer, they always give me the best possible deal they possibly can. Posture and presence. I'm able to walk in there.
JB Glossinger [00:16:51]:
I don't even need to go on the Internet, and I'll guarantee I'm getting the best deal on the market. K? So this is these are all life things that will make your life better if you build a tribe around value oriented people and you'd be of service. And then a couple other things that you really need to do. You need to lead a lot of times or you need to follow or sometimes just get the hell out of the way. K? Believe it or not, I get the hell out of the way a lot of times. Let other people have the glory. Let other people have stuff. You will have a wonderful life if you understand these concepts that we're gonna go through this week.
JB Glossinger [00:17:21]:
And finally, the last thing I'll leave you with is authenticity. Right? So there's this big issue out there in the world today where people are just trying to show others that they have value. You know, they wear the Louis Vuitton. They wear they drive a Lamborghini. You know, those are impractical things that people do to say, hey. Look at me. I have value. Right? Let's call it what it is.
JB Glossinger [00:17:48]:
Now, I'm not against nice things. I have nice bags. I have nice cars. So I'm not against it. But when you take your value in things and you're not being authentically you, it's really challenging to be a leader because you're not secure in yourself. So you have to be able to be humble, and you have to be able to be able to handle being vulnerable. And if you're really strong, who cares what people think? Who cares if I say I'm not drinking this week or I don't wanna drink right now? I don't care if you look at me weird. I laugh at it.
JB Glossinger [00:18:22]:
Being able to be authentic and strong is critical. It will make you a better leader, and the cream rises atop, meaning the others in the tribe will elevate. Right? Because you'll find other people like you that are independent and strong, just like you. That's how I've been able to build over the years. It's amazing the people that are coming in. Why? Because they're independent and they're strong. They're just looking for a little guidance, and they know what they don't know. See, true leaders, true people of abundance, true people of affluence, they know what they don't know.
JB Glossinger [00:18:56]:
And that's one of the secrets to life. You're not fake. You're not inauthentic. You're not trying to be somebody you're not. You're saying, hey. Hey. Teach me. I wanna learn.
JB Glossinger [00:19:04]:
So I may go into a try to fly an airplane without any knowledge of being a pilot. Oh, I'll do it because I can do it. I played some video games. No. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I need to learn from somebody. That's why we do more in coach. That's why we bring this energy.
JB Glossinger [00:19:20]:
So it's gonna be a great week. It's birthday. You can tell I'm fired up. Right? Sorry. I went over a little bit, but it's going to be a great week. We're gonna get some ideas on monetization. We're gonna get some ideas on leading a tribe, and we're gonna have a lot of fun. So let's go do it to it this week.
JB Glossinger [00:19:35]:
Let's put the energy out there, and tomorrow, back into the book study a little bit, and then we're gonna rock it this week. Those of you in the metaphysical group, keep a eye out for emails because there's more comments and tutorials and stuff that I'm gonna be sending. If you don't know what that is, just send an email to info at morning coach.com life you wanna apply to be a part of that group. It's free to Morning Coach members. It's awesome. Okay? So lots of love to you. I'll be back tomorrow. Get you going right here on morning coach.com.
JB Glossinger [00:20:01]:
And finally, thank you. Truly, thank you for making my 55th year, the start of it amazing. Honestly, I love you. Thank you. Go have a great day.
