B. Glosinger. Glad you're here. We're gonna rock and roll today, as we're getting into metaphysical alignment and the power of it. We're gonna have some fun today. Before we get started, remember your metaphysical morning ritual. As it is a Monday, we wanna get organized. We wanna take a little time for self care.

Get a chance to go. Just go in the community, crank to some of those meetups. Amazing people. I mean, you're just missing out if you don't get a chance to go meet some of the wonderful people that are, doing the meetup. Of course, Friday is final financial Friday this month, so you wanna get your ILD spreadsheet open, and make sure on Friday that you're ready. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, that we're gonna say November. Right? So it's time to get that organized on Friday. It is a check month, so we're gonna finalize kind of the game plan for the last 2 months here.

Right? What are you gonna be doing to get this year closed out? How are you closing it out? And then, obviously, as we get in November, December, we are gonna start working on our 2025 plan. So it's it's exciting time. We're having a lot of fun. Today, we're gonna talk about metaphysical alignment, a really important powerful thing, that we need to go over. Tomorrow, the book study, setting boundaries. We're gonna go over the final kind of book with that that the the final day with that. What a great book. So Wednesday, we're gonna talk about mission a little bit more because we're getting to that stage where we gotta start dialing that in.

Thursday, I got a great question. I get this a lot. I'm gonna answer it. How do you have so much energy? So I'm gonna go over that, give you some tips on what I do. And then Friday, understanding financial goals. How do we get more? We've been talking about this the last few weeks. You know, whether it's you're working with a company or you're an entrepreneur, we're gonna go a little bit deeper into that. Obviously, Saturday, doctor Paul.
JB Glossinger [00:03:57]:
And finally, Sunday, we're ending the week this week with sometimes you just need to rest. K? There's times when you just need to take a break. Alright. Let's get into it. It is Monday, meaning it's our organizational day. You should be looking at your plan. What do you got going on this week? Structured things, you know, take a look at the whole week, get a good look at what are you doing, what appointments do you have coming up, what are you getting the most return, you know, return of investment ROI on the time that you're doing. Are you spending some time looking at your Pareto principle? You know, what are we doing that are creating the results? You know, those 20% of things that are really, you know, hitting hitting the mark, looking at those, and really analyzing.
JB Glossinger [00:04:38]:
That's what we do here at morning coach. Right? So that's why I always say this is such a long term plan because we're looking to really structure it with you as I'm running. And running's going great, by the way. I'm feeling great, getting ready to go. Couple weeks here, I'm gonna be running to try to b q, Boston qualify. Only 1500 people in the world do that in my age bracket, men 55 to 60. So it's a big challenge, but I'm feeling great. My numbers are great.
JB Glossinger [00:05:04]:
But one of the things I'm learning about is adaptation. And adaptation is slow running over time where your body literally increases veins and blood vessels, and it takes time to do that. But that's why some of these people are so good is because they've adapted their body and same thing with our systems. Right? It takes time to get this massaged and organized and understood what you are doing and then understanding your particular system. Everybody has a different type of system. Maybe use your phone. Maybe you got a remarkable, You know, understanding that's really critical. And that's the first step, by the way, in the quick start.
JB Glossinger [00:05:38]:
It's like, let's get a plan structured. And and I know there's a lot of you. Look, it's important to hear this out because I even know in our our mastermind that you have a remarkable and you're not using it. This is the year. K? When we get the new planner and you're ready to go, just commit to saying, okay. I'm gonna use this device, and I'm gonna put time into it or your books or your iPad, whatever you're using, but just commit to a system. K? That's what I really want you to do. Alright.
JB Glossinger [00:06:04]:
So why is alignment so important? Because when you get everything working, and in in our systems, we we talk about metaphysical alignment, meaning you have a mission. And I like to talk about a tactical or annual mission. We do have a lifetime mission. We do have vision, and those are some things we'll get into in December. But right now, we're like, hey. What is the mission? And then we have goals that are gonna take us to that mission. We have projects that lead us to the goals and then tasks. That's the structure.
JB Glossinger [00:06:32]:
K? So that's the structure, and it's really the structure of anything we do. So, like, you wanna accomplish something. K. What are we gonna do? That's the mission. K. What how are we gonna get there? Those are the goals. And then how are we gonna hit the goals? Well, those are the projects, and then the tasks are what we need to do to the project. So it's a tiered system, and it works real well.
JB Glossinger [00:06:49]:
But the outlier of this system and we had a real hard time with my editors when I was writing the original book, The Sacred 6. They're like, well, where do values fit in? Do they go before mission, after mission? Where the heck do values fit in? Values are the critical component that we don't talk a lot about because it's really easy to engineer a game plan. We can say, okay. Here's a mission. Here's the goals that are gonna get us there. These are the projects we're gonna do, and these are tasks we're gonna do. That's that's I mean, we can do that for anything, and and I want to start having you incorporate that in in life. Like, that's part of the dream, right, is to get you using the system, not only organizationally, but your children wanna go to Disneyland.
JB Glossinger [00:07:27]:
Okay. We wanna go to Disneyland. That's the mission. Well, what do we need to do? We gotta set the goals to get to Disneyland. What are we gonna what how much money do we need? You know, what clothes do we need? You know, what's the you know, what hotels do we need? All of those are the goals. And then within there are projects, we need to call the hotel. Right? That's a project. We need to we need to get the game plan together, and then there's tasks within those projects.
JB Glossinger [00:07:50]:
And the breakdown occurs 1 of 2 ways. 1, you have too many projects going on. K. That's why it's called the sacred six. It's about the projects, not about the goals. It's not about the mission. It's about what are you working on. And if you probably have too much stuff, everybody does.
JB Glossinger [00:08:05]:
And the other breakdown is in the values. It doesn't align with what you think is important in your life, and that's what values are. So that's when I was talking to my editor. It's like, where do they fit? They're one of the most important things, But hardly anybody does a values exercise to understand what's important. So I look at running. Right? Look at look at me now jumping in and running. You heard, you know, you've heard me talk about golf stories and training with Israelis and all the stuff I've done over my life, especially those of you who've been with me 19 years. And now it's running.
JB Glossinger [00:08:33]:
Right? Well, here's the deal. Why does it work? Because it's it's alignment. So my mission part of my mission is to have abundant health. And in our check-in March, April, I was not healthy, at least not where I am today. I'm a beast, and I I'm I'm proud to say that. Like, I'm in the best shape that I've ever been. My VO two max is superior. My age is 45 years old, so I'm 10 years younger biologically right now.
JB Glossinger [00:08:59]:
Just and this is all Garmin information. But I feel that way too. I feel amazing. And but I wasn't in alignment with my mission because I really wasn't doing anything with my health. Right? So then I said, well, I'm gonna do this training. I'm gonna I'm gonna run, and so I'm gonna set a goal to do a 4 5 k and, you know, try to do it in 22, 23 minutes. I did that, and then I set a goal for a half marathon, and my mission is health. Well, then I'm like, wow.
JB Glossinger [00:09:24]:
I'm gonna try to be Boston qualified. Like, let's really do this. Let's really get into this. And so why is this working? Because health is one of my most important values, and freedom is one of my most important values. And these two things are working together in my value situation. So not only am I willing to work super hard, I'm enjoying this. I'm enjoying the process. Why? Because there's metaphysical alignment.
JB Glossinger [00:09:49]:
It aligns with what I what's important to me, my health, my physicality, my in my energy. It's changing my life. And that's why I tell you, you know, getting a mission established and then getting the right goals is really not just about saying what do I want. It's about understanding what's important to you. And once you understand that, you can start doing more things that bring energy into your life. We're gonna talk about this on Thursday. But one of my big objectives with you as we go into 2025 is to get you thinking about how can I do more things that give me energy and get away from the things that are taking energy? Right? I want you to really be thinking about that. So when I look at alignment and I look at things I was doing, a good example of that is golf.
JB Glossinger [00:10:38]:
So I got heavily involved in golf. You know, I was in Florida. I was playing 300 times a year. I was getting really good at golf. And for some reason, I just wasn't getting any satisfaction. In fact, it was the opposite. I could feel the resistance with golf. And part of my goals was get to a sub 10 handicap.
JB Glossinger [00:10:54]:
But every time I would get there, I felt resistance. Like, I was like, I'm not changing the world on the golf course. Like, it was a weird thing. It was out of alignment with me. Now I'll go play golf. I'll have fun with it. Don't don't say I'm getting rid of golf. I'll play golf later in life, but it wasn't serving me.
JB Glossinger [00:11:13]:
Do you can you feel that? This is so important to understand because you're doing so many things, because I know I am, that aren't alignment with the things that are important to me and the goals that are gonna take me to my mission. So many things. And our objective here at Morning Coach is to get you to eliminate those things that are taking your energy, that are stealing the energy that you need to go do what you gotta do. I'm falling so much in love with running that I can't stand rest days. It's like I can't I don't wanna rest. I wanna go put my music on and just disappear. And, you know, I've talked about alcohol before. Like, alcohol was a it's always been a big part of my life.
JB Glossinger [00:11:53]:
It was something I did with my friends. I enjoyed it. I would go out and drink. And but I always struggled with it because I would end up drinking too much. And guess what? It was out of alignment with my values because why? I was getting unhealthy. I wasn't sleeping good. And I know there are responsible people here that drink, and I'm not hammering it. I'm just saying for me, it was out of alignment.
JB Glossinger [00:12:14]:
So now with this marathon training, and and I've I've said I would never run long distance. It's amazing how when you do introspection or we call it observing your life, you start to say, okay. What is in alignment? What is it? And then when things start to align, it's amazing what happens. My times are unbelievable. I don't know if I'll qualify for Boston or not. Between me and you, I'm pretty sure I will. But who knows? It could be injury, could be a rain, anything could happen. So I don't wanna get the cart before the horse.
JB Glossinger [00:12:44]:
Like, I I I live in the day. Like, just one thing I'm learning for for, the marathon world is run the mile you're in. Don't get ahead of yourself. And same thing with us. Like, when we look at our alignment, what are we doing right now? Like, when you finish morning coaching, you start your day. Are you doing things that are helping you move towards alignment, giving you energy? Are you doing things that are taking energy? And if you are, that's where we've got to start working. And, again, it's really important that you are invested in morning coach long term because it's about the adaptation. It doesn't happen overnight.
JB Glossinger [00:13:22]:
Look. I've been doing this 20 years. Coming up on 20 years 19. We're coming up to 20 in couple months. And literally, it feels like I'm just living. Like, I can't explain it. Like and and that's happened a lot in my life. It's like, wow.
JB Glossinger [00:13:37]:
As we evolve, you start to look back and go, gosh. I can't even imagine that person thought that way. And those of you in the metaphysical group, that's why I always scream so much about letting yourself go. Let that old person disappear. So many people cling on to the old, and they're not allowing themselves to have the new. I'm becoming a marathoner. Who would have thought? I'll never get one one of my good friends, Jen, said, JB, oh, you're the marathoner. I'm like, no way.
JB Glossinger [00:14:06]:
I don't even run a 5 k, but here I am running a marathon. This is how it works. This is how it's so life changing, but you gotta do the work, like, and it's introspective work. Like, you gotta step back and go, okay, am I in alignment? Am I in alignment with the things that I wanna do in my life? And where you feel that is resistance, and you'll feel it, and you gotta be aware of that resistance. When things aren't working, why isn't it working? Why why are you feeling that? Golf, again, just go in there and feeling miserable and I like golf, but it wasn't where it needed to be in my life at this moment. It's not one of the projects that needs to be there. Being a sub 10 handicap, which I'm close to, is not that important as running a marathon. And again, it's not even about running the marathon.
JB Glossinger [00:14:55]:
I could care less about that. It's the objective of getting healthy. That's what's so important. So it's in alignment because it's activities that are part of my mission and align with my values. See why this work that we do is so critical because you never know the day. It's like reading a book. You ever read a book and you read it a second or third time. You read it a third time, you're like, oh, now I get it.
JB Glossinger [00:15:23]:
That's why we do morning coach. Because one day you wake up, it's like, wow. Okay. Now I get it. And that's my job, to just come every day with different angles, different thoughts to keep you thinking and letting you live that awesome life that you deserve because you deserve it. And also picking you up when you fall down because I fall down too. And we all got to be in this thing together. Okay? So let's get off to a great start of the week.
