JB Glossinger [00:00:09]:
Good Morning and welcome to MorningCoach®. I am so glad you're with us. Hey. It's JB. Super pumped you're here. It is a Monday.
JB Glossinger [00:00:23]:
We are ready to go. This is I don't know how to tell. This is like my favorite week. It's my favorite week because we got the New Year. We're in in the holidays, and we're ready to start a new what do I wanna say? Just a new life. Right? Everything about it is just awesome. It's a ritual that allows you to get a fresh start no matter how great things went last year or no matter how bad they did. We have the opportunity to have a fresh start.
JB Glossinger [00:00:47]:
And how do we do that? Well, we take time for self care. We listen, coach cast, get our 7 p's taken care of, you know, get that perspective and those priorities and performance, and then organize with the planner. Got a ton of different things. Now you got the color, you got the gray scale, excited. And, of course, you can go on the planning course that you have to make sure, you know, you know where you're at right now. This is a great time to just solidify everything. And we're gonna do that this week. We've got a big week plan.
JB Glossinger [00:01:14]:
We're gonna start out today with a little bit of New Year's organization. Grab some fun. We're gonna talk about the song of the year, and I have a song for you that I picked, and you can pick one. We have our grape ritual tomorrow, one of the favorite my favorite things in the world to do. It's a tradition that we've done here for years years years at morning coach, and hopefully, you'll be able to do it with us tomorrow. And then Wednesday, obviously, New Year's Day will be a quick coach cast. And then here we go. We are rolling.
JB Glossinger [00:01:38]:
We've got Thursday. We got asked JB getting momentum to start the year. We've got the 3rd, which is Friday, which is stay abundant in thought and action. Saturday, of course, is doctor Paul as we're working on longevity and antiaging and building a new system for you, that we're gonna be bringing you a lot of resources. In fact, check the meetups because we're doing a lot of meetups. And then, time for peace and joy as we round out this holiday week and get us going. Like, it's it's a it's a fun time to just get started and get rolling. So as we do that, one of the things I always like to do to close out the year is to do some reviewing, you know, what gave me energy, what didn't give me energy.
JB Glossinger [00:02:16]:
You know your plan. There's some questions there. What could you did better? You know, those are things you've been working on and, you know, it's great. But now we're gonna have a little fun because you're working on your plan. You're getting your mission. You're getting everything in order. Now it's time to, like, kind of reminisce a little bit and think of a song that really reminds you of 2024. So I'm ready to close the door.
JB Glossinger [00:02:35]:
I'm ready to close this chapter. I'm ready for a new chapter of my life. Close the door. I'm ready to close this chapter. I'm ready for a new chapter of my life. 2025 is going to be amazing. But I have to tell you, 2024 was another year of transition. And again, I have no other way to do this, but just, you know, tell you kind of what is going on in my life.
JB Glossinger [00:02:53]:
You know, we came out of COVID. It was challenging here at morning coach. We, you know, we lost a little ground. A lot of that had to do with me. I wasn't doing my events. It wasn't doing speaking. And, you know, I had a little PTSD for some things that occurred. And then, you know, we had my mother had some health challenges.
JB Glossinger [00:03:08]:
And then I left Florida for a little while, you know, and and Pilar and I haven't had a chance to really spend as much time as we would like. I've been building systems and structures and, you know, a lot of different things have gone wrong, but a lot of things have gone great. And as you know, in March, I needed to make some changes in my health. And I did. I did pretty good with that. I ran my first marathon, which was amazing. And now I'm training for another one. Still had a couple slip ups along the way, meaning either drinking a little bit too much with friends or, you know, not being on task and and doing the things I needed to do, not building or writing, you know, getting my writing done.
JB Glossinger [00:03:45]:
I had mentioned at the beginning of the year, that's one of the things I wanted to do. So I've had some failures along the way, and that's okay. You know, and I'm not here to think about the failures. I'm here to think about the successes because we look at the successes. Morning coach is growing. We have wonderful new planners. Ken has come on board to help us design things. Doctor Paul and I are launching longevity and antiaging.
JB Glossinger [00:04:05]:
That's going great. We got a lot of new members from around the world. International inner circle, the mastermind that I absolutely love is starting to grow, and we're getting amazing people in that group. I'm starting to put some events together, and just life is good. Starting to work on my book. I wanna get sober weekends done. I'm pushing hard on that. So a lot of good things happen, but, it was a challenging year.
JB Glossinger [00:04:28]:
It was a challenging year. And so the song that I'm I'm choosing for me, and I could share it with you, it could be your song too, and I'm gonna actually put it in here. I'm gonna try to do this. I've recorded. I don't think I'm supposed to do this, but it's okay. We're gonna do it anyways. We're going to honor this is David guy it is a titanium and the reason I I pick this song is because my year has been one of dodging bullets and becoming stronger. It's becoming titanium.
JB Glossinger [00:04:56]:
I I feel that, you know, the cold plunges came into my life. You know, exercising heavier and training harder came into my life. Mentally, meditation and getting stronger came into my life. And as I think about my vision going into next year, I wanna be more titanium. This was my year to start getting there. It was to you know, I was getting there, and it was really starting to work for me. And and and I feel titanium, and and you'll hear the lyrics to this word. It's a little edm ish, a little upbeat, and that's okay.
JB Glossinger [00:05:25]:
But it is my song for 2024 to lead me into 2025. I really feel that this energy, this thoughts, these lyrics are me becoming titanium to get ready to live an amazing life in 2025, to to hit that goal of, 3:30 marathon, to build morning coach and affect thousands of lives around the world, to make my mastermind even better than it's ever been that I even think I wanted to do, but now it's just amazing. This is my focus, and I'm excited about it. And I'm excited about building enough to get back to Florida and do some cool things there as I've come off vacation a couple weeks ago. So this is the song for me for 2024. I wanna put it in here, and I'll explain a little bit more after. But it is a energetic song. So I'm gonna put it in here so you can hear.
JB Glossinger [00:06:13]:
But this is Titanium, by David Gaeta, one of the songs for me. This is 2024 and my song of the year. I absolutely love that song. So I typically run to seventies music. I I'm a big seventies music fan. It's my age. It's it's what it is. But lately, I've been getting into this runner's high playlist on Apple, and this obviously is on it.
JB Glossinger [00:10:33]:
And just I mean, I could tell you there's some times in long run times. I'm at mile 17, and I just need something to get me going. That song just gets me through. There's another one, Diamonds, but this one, really, if I just think you can get through it. You can make it happen. You can do something amazing today, and and that's what it's about. Right? Music moves me. I love music so much, and part of running that I like so much is instead of drinking and listening to my music at night, which is something I used to do, and I used to love that, I now run and listen to music.
JB Glossinger [00:11:06]:
And some Sundays, I'll do 3, 4 hours of running and just listening to songs. And when I get to that point where I just can't go any further, you know, I just think I'm titanium. I can do this. I can make it happen. And that's the type of energy I want going into the new year. We're gonna be focused on health. We're gonna be focused on energy. We're gonna be focused on planning and structuring and making sure you have what you need, to live your most amazing life.
JB Glossinger [00:11:31]:
So what I would suggest you do is, you know, in the planner, we've got an area for your song of the year. You know, go through and maybe Google, hey, what are some inspirational songs or what song meant so much to me to this year? It could be about your family. It could be about your children. Something that just moves you. I hear that almost moved to tears. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to take on the world. And a lot of times, it doesn't have to be high energy.
JB Glossinger [00:11:55]:
That just happens to be a very high energy song with beats and drops that just really get you going. And like I said, there are times when I'm running, and and that's where I got this from, is listening to my music and I'm running, and I'm just, you know, got a hill coming up or something, man. I put that in, and I just disappear. Like, it just gives me that little extra, you know, energy, that little extra oomph to get through, which we all need sometimes. Even in life, just getting up and making that change, making that decision, picking up the phone, and having that conflictual call that you don't wanna have. You know, I had to do it the other day. You know, we made an offer on a place and they came back and said, hey. It's a bid, and they're gonna be bidding back and forth.
JB Glossinger [00:12:32]:
This was down in Florida, and I said, I'm not getting a bidding thing. I would have never been had the strength to do that mentally. I was never a great negotiator. I was good at sales when I was selling high end airplanes and, you know, working at that area, but where I don't like conflict. I never have. And so it's hard for me to have that mental strength to be able to say no. And that's one of the things I've worked on this year, cold plunging, marathons. My mental strength is at a different level, and it's allowing me to coach.
JB Glossinger [00:13:00]:
It's allowing me to bring energy and allowing me to grow and see the vision who I'm becoming. So as we look at my mission, and it's about growth and really making the world a better place and doing some things personally for me, that's my mission. But my vision is to be that 3:30 marathoner, that beast, that person that's out there that is titanium, that is making a difference in the world, and I'm excited about that. It excites me to get up and and then live that life. Get up at 5:30 every morning and start training, which I didn't do this year. It's time to get titanium. It's time to take the next step. It's time to grow as an individual.
JB Glossinger [00:13:35]:
That's me. I don't know where you're at. I don't know what you're dealing with, but right now is the perfect time to pick that song to end the year and start this year in an amazing way. Because tomorrow, we're gonna get in the grape, which we're gonna explain what that is. Many of you know what it is, but it's gonna help you solidify those goals that we've set with this plan so that we can make 2025 spectacular. I mean, not just amazing, spectacular. And we do that by having the right perspective, setting those prefer priorities and working on performance and then being patient, allowing these systems work. Don't come for a month.
JB Glossinger [00:14:10]:
Don't come for 2 months. Commit to this year. Give it 1 year. The investment's so little when you look at the results that can come and the life that you can create if you're willing to put in the work. And it's not that much work. Takes a little planning, show up, list a coach cast, change your mindset, and start to live a great life. Be titanium. I love you.
JB Glossinger [00:14:32]:
Pick your song of the year. If you wanna go on a community, we would love to hear your song of the year. It'd be great. The community is starting to pick up a little bit. Love to have you jump in there and share what is your song of the year for 2024. I love you. Go do it to it, and I'll be back tomorrow right here at morning coach.com.
